Profile Becky O'Neill Becky O’Neill founded Specialized Business Services in 2004.  She wanted to fill the need for reliable, quality, affordable, and professional accounting services to the small business community.  It is her goal to help small businesses meet their growing needs for accounting and bookkeeping services. Ms. O’Neill has more than 16 years of experience in accounting from general bookkeeping and payroll to advanced financial planning and analysis, QuickBooks set up and training, as well as business systemization. Prior to starting Specialized Business Services, Mrs. O’Neill was Accounting Manager for a Maryland based health care directive firm, Accountant and Office Manager for a commercial construction firm and successful Small Business Owner and operator in the residential construction area.  She knows what it is to start a small business with nothing more than a dream and attain success through vision, hard work and successful business partnerships.   Ms. O’Neill’s accomplishments involve helping small businesses by providing tools, guidance, and professional resources to help them attain new levels of success. Helping them implement cost effective and time efficient small business practices that allow companies to reach and maintain their goals.  Something as simple as a referral to the appropriate professional can give a great sense of accomplishment if it means truly helping a company attain a goal. Ms. O’Neill is a member of the Maryland Society of Accountants.  She has had many wonderful opportunities to learn and grow through various life and professional experiences. She moved, for a time, to East Texas to simply experience another part of the country and its’ local culture and returned ‘home’ to Maryland where she lives with her husband, two daughters and lab Indy.
